Entertainment Business Curriculum Vitae "Toomey" Bonardelli Experience: Sound Reinforcement (1986-present) -Merchant Street Rowdies, July 1996, acted as house engineer for this Dixieland band’s Switzerland tour of Montreux, Brienz, and Brissago. -Gumbo Ya Ya Room, Hilton Hotel, March 1995-July 1996, provided and ran house PA. system for regional jazz touring acts. -various acts, 1986-present, provide and use small 12 channel/700 watt/2-way P.A. system for area rock acts.
Concessions (1991-1992) -In several cities of the Ice Capades tour (East Company), I sold programs and souvenirs in the stands and in booths. In addition, I performed as both Bart Simpson and Dino for the photo opportunity concession.
Publicity/Promotion (1985-1990) -worked with Cats on Holiday, a regional touring act in central Illinois, designing flyers and handbills with concert information; distribution of flyers at performances; building and maintaining a mailing list; ordering and selling band T-shirts, albums, and other souvenirs. -organized a benefit for the Women’s Sojourn Center in 1989 and 1990. As benefit coordinator, I hired the bands, acquired the sound production, and coordinated the media to obtain maximum publicity. -presently do publicity for area bands.
Stage Manager (1985-1988) -concurrent to my duties in Publicity/Promotion, I also worked with Cats on Holiday setting up and tearing down the stage equipment; tuning guitars; trouble-shooting any stage problems that arose during the performance.
